CAESY is the acronym for Clinically Advanced Education SYstem. With this system, we are able to educate our patients on the types of procedures and services that we may recommend or that they may be interested in understanding more about. We at Dr. Hakes office believe that the more information and better educated our patients are about their oral health care and the recommended treatment, the more informed decision can be made. CAESY is one of those methods and educational tools that we use to assist in accomplishing this goal. It is an effective and informative, as well as entertaining, method of patient education. While sitting in the operatory, patients are able to view CAESY. The system is played on the TV monitor and the patient is able to become more educated in the specific procedure, home care or treatment that is being recommended. After the preview of the program, you may request to have a printout that you may take that will assist in guiding you on your process to understand and make an informed, educated decision.
